MM2H
The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program was first introduced in 2002 to draw expatriates to retire or live in Malaysia for an extended period, in sync with the 'Cuti-cuti Malaysia' concept.
MM2H is a long-term visa scheme that allows foreigners to reside in Malaysia for up to 15 years with multiple renewals possible. It's popular among retirees and anyone seeking a tropical lifestyle in Southeast Asia.
Gold category holders will have a 15-year Multiple Entry Visa (MEV), while Silver category holders have a 5-year MEV, with an option to renew.
Those in the Platinum category can also earn Permanent Resident status after obtaining their MM2H pass.
Here's a quick overview of MM2H:
What It Is
A 10-year multiple-entry visa with renewal options.
No requirement to work in Malaysia.
